Now, the body design for the Honda Civic Type R sedan looks in a proper shapes and Honda have brought it to the Nurburgring. It is Honda tradition to build two different Type R models to cater European and non European market Honda have launched Honda Civic Type R hatchback model for European market and it received positive feedback from Honda enthusiasts. Now they are making a totally new Honda Civic Type R sedan for the rest of the world and it is said to be packed with amazing stuffs.
Although it is still under heavy camouflage stickers, we can expects its overall design. Starts from the front facia, it will have a pair of LED running day lights integrated with a new design headlights. There is also a new design grille with a more radical front bumpers integrated with an air splitter. The air splitter not just to improve the downforce but also makes the car looks lowered. The new bumper design also cater for better air intakes and it also exposed an intercooler for the 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder VTEC engine.
The Honda Civic Type R sedan looks wider compare to the newly launch 2016 US spec Civic sedan thanks to the wider front fenders and rear wheel arches. It is for the first time Honda fits the front fenders with air vents and it looks cool. The rear bumpers looks radical too with an air diffuser with quad exhaust tailpipes. The rear section ended up with a huge rear spoiler.
