The all new Range Rover is coming in 2021 with more weight reduction. Instead of removing parts of the vehicle, the new Range Rover will sit on top of new platform. The platform is called Modular Longitudinal Architecture.
It is expecting the exterior design for the new Range Rover will have an evolutionary changes. The main focus will be inside its cabin.
With reduced weight, Range Rover can add more electronic features. The 2021 Range Rover is said will be installed with the newest version of the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system which can be found in the Velar that has a pair of 10-inch display screens.
It is also said that the SUV will have an intelligence system allowing the vehicle to learn driver’s habit including predict climate settings, seats and mirror settings; features that is currently available on Jaguar E-Pace.
A new straight six petrol and diesel engine will be powered this new SUV but at the same time it is possible for the Range Rover to include hybrid technology to reduce its fuel consumption.
The new Range Rover is being prepared to be able to compete with the BMW X8 and Audi Q9. It will be used for other Jaguar Land Rover models too including the Jaguar XE.
