Aston Martin Invest £200 Million For Their First SUV

Aston Martin will be joining other luxury brand producing SUV model under their flagship models. The new model is known as Aston Martin DBX, and they will invest £200 million in their new project including their new factory in St Athan, Wales. The new business expansion will create 1,000 jobs in the plant and about 3,000 more in their supply chain. Aston Martin targets that the new DBX model will help them to increase their annual sales. Demand for luxury SUV segment is strong and the new factory capable of delivering about 7,000 to 10,000 units vehicle in a year. Aston Martin also hinted their Lagonda brand might also be built in the new plant alongside the Aston Martin DBX. Aston Martin said although they are targeting high volume sales for the upcoming years, all their models will still be made by hand. The construction of the new factory will start next year on 90-hectare land
