BMW have unveiled their revised BMW M6 Competition Package now available on top of standard package. Under the BMW M6 Competition Package, the 4.4 Liter twin turbo engine have been tuned and received power increase. The BMW M’s engine now producing 592 horsepower with 25 horsepower more than the standard BMW M6.
BMW also said that the new BMW M6 Competition Package have improved its acceleration. The BMW M6 Coupe able to go from 0-62mph (or 100kmh) in just 3.9 seconds (0.2 faster). On the other hand, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe and BMW M6 Convertible able to reach 62 mph from static in just 4.0 seconds with 0.3 seconds faster than standard model.
All its power will be delivered to 7-speed dual clutch automatic. The top speed is limited to 155 mph but can be increased with addition of another package, the M Driver’s Package.
With the increase of total engine performance, BMW M6 Competition Package also provide a new suspension setup. It include a firmer and stiffer springs, dampers and anti-roll bars. Its Active M Differential and stability control have been calibrate to fit the new upgrades.
