Daimler Reserved $560 Million For Takata Airbag Recall

In an announcement made by Daimler, they reserved about $560 million to handle Takata airbag in the latest recall. The defected airbag is missing a dry agent which could spread metal from the inflator when the airbag activated during a collision. The spread could injure or even killed the occupant. The number of additional vehicles that need to be fixed is yet to be determined. Takata airbag recall has caused trouble for automakers.
