With current strategy by Jean-Marc and his team, Lotus in the right track with sales boost up compare to previous years. It is their best financial result since year 2008/2009. Sales increased almost 55% compare to the same period of time last year which sold only1296 units. Instead of producing a new line up cars (which cost a lot of investment), Jean-Marc focusing more on sales for current improved models and dealers all over the world.
They try to optimised and strengthen their dealership network and provide customer with better experience. Globally, there are about 174 dealership with 36 of them are new comers. Lotus Elise is the best model for with 80% boost in sales with 729 units were sold. Followed by Exile S with 724 units and Evora with 562 units.
Lotus hope with introduction of new improved models for the upcoming years, it will help Lotus to gain better sales before invest with total new platform. Evora 400 is an example from Lotus that they can do better although it share the same chassis. Almost all items both interior and exterior of the Evora 400 is new and it received positive feedback from the last Geneva Motor Show.
