Tesla Model S A 3.1 Seconds 0 to 60 MPH Confirmed With Firmware Update

It is confirmed that the Tesla Model S P85D will received firmware update which enable it to move from static to 60 mph (around 98 kmh) in just 3.1 seconds. The updates will improved its algorithm to utilise its power inverter. The advantage with drive by wired electric cars like Tesla, they could improve the computer system who run the cars with more efficient algorithm. Electric motor are known for its fast acceleration compare to normal combustion engine. But to harmonise all its electric motor require a lot of work. A 3.1 acceleration will give other supercars neck to neck challenge.
