Tesla Model S Breaks New Record In Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Race

It is the first Tesla Model S joining the raced at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb and the car already set a new record under EV category. Previously, the record was set by Zero electric motorcycle.

The modified Tesla Model S owns by Go Puck. They have done some minimal changes including a modified battery pack to save weight with capability discharge quickly. The interior was stripped out to lose more weight, and a roll cage added for safety purpose.

Overall the Tesla Model S by Go Puck run at 65th place with 11 minutes and 48.264 seconds. It is a long way to go for Go Puck and their Tesla Model S but at least they are showing EV is capable of giving strong competition to combustion engine vehicles in near future.
