It looks like the Mercedes-Benz is preparing the next generation A-Class. In these latest spy shots. Mercedes is testing their new model in their technical center in Germany, and it looks like the development is still in early phase.
The A-Class would be the first Mercedes model to be used their new Modular Front-drive Architecture (MFA2) which also shares with Infiniti. It is expected the platform will also underpin the next generation GLA, B-Class, CLA and a new SUV segment rumored to be the new GLB.
The new A-Class is expected to be bigger than the current model with plenty of headroom for the rear passengers. Mercedes also try to increase the visibility for the driver by relocates its side mirror to be on the door side instead of the A-pillar. The new A-Class is expected to make its first appearance in 2018.
