Volvo Unveiled 2016 Volvo S90

After several spy shots taken, Volvo unveiled 2016 Volvo S90 which scheduled for a public debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. Originally, they plan to revealed it on January 2016 but things changed. On its exterior, the 2016 Volvo S90 have major design improvement. The new design looks refreshing with more modern design while maintaining its simple looks. The 2016 Volvo S90 will also come with their new iconic hammer headlights which suite well the car.


From the rear section, you will definitely recognized the S90 because of its huge taillights. Volvo still remain its unique design by maintaining its boxy side curve which synonym to Volvo and they also managed to create a sloppy roof line while maintaining head clearance for rear passengers.


Customers can choose different type of engines. There will be 2 petrol engines, 1 diesel engine and hybrid engine. For the hybrid model, Volvo will offer an All Wheel Drive System which will pair a 4-cylinder turbo engine producing 320 hp and electric engine which capable to produce 87 hp. The new engine from Volvo came with Power Pulse technology. Power Pulse is a technology that capable to eliminate turbo lag when the driver need hard acceleration from low speeds.
