Volvo has announced the Volvo V40 Carbon Limited Edition. Only 343 units will be available for sales in selected market. It will be on sales for Finland, France, Japan, Netherlands and Sweden. The Volvo V40 Carbon Limited Edition is not just a name given as marketing strategy instead Volvo has fitted it with carbon fiber parts with the help from Polestar Performance Optimization.
Volvo V40 Carbon Limited Edition will have carbon fiber roof panel, carbon fiber mirror caps, black exhaust tips and 19 inch Polestar allow wheels. It will be powered by Polestar tuned Drive-E engine. There will be two options available; 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine with 200 horsepower (added 16 more horsepower compare to standard V40) and 2.0 liter petrol engine with 253 horsepower (added 25 more horsepower).
On its interior, the Volvo V40 Carbon Limited Edition will have red seat belts and real carbon fiber trim on the door sills and dashboard. It is amazing Volvo has added more carbon fiber treatment to their V40. It is the first in Volvo’s long history that they have fitted a carbon fiber parts on its roof panel. Prices will be announce during their official launch next month.
